Our guidelines were developed to help make every Gloworder experience feel safe, respectful, and positive. They apply to everyone who uses Gloworder’s platform (“Gloworder Marketplace Platform”) as well as interactions you may have with Gloworder employees and contractors. And, in some instances, our guidelines apply to conduct outside the Gloworder Marketplace Platform that we become aware of, including, but not limited to, information from other platforms, when such conduct may threaten the integrity or safety of the Gloworder Marketplace Platform.
We hope you understand and will join us in supporting and safeguarding Gloworder.
The guidelines below help explain some of the specific kinds of positive community engagement on the Gloworder Marketplace Platform, as well as the behaviors or circumstances that may cause you to lose access to the Gloworder Marketplace Platform. There will always be unforeseen events that may ultimately lead to your losing access to using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform and services, but the following guidelines – which we’ll update regularly – provide the basis for behavior we expect from all in the Gloworder community. Not following any one of our guidelines can constitute a material breach or violation of the Gloworder Terms of Use and may result in the loss of access to part or all of the Gloworder Marketplace Platform.
So, welcome and we hope you enjoy all that Gloworder has to offer while helping us to keep this a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.

Everyone who signs up for an Gloworder account is required to follow Gloworder’s Community Guidelines.
a. Treat Everyone with Respect
Our community is remarkably diverse and, chances are, you will encounter people who might not look like you or share your beliefs. The guidelines in this section help to foster positive interactions during every experience.
b. Help Keep One Another Safe
We’re hard at work every day to help create safer experiences for everyone. Your safety is paramount. That’s why these standards were written.
c. Follow the Law
We’re committed to following all applicable laws and earning your trust, and we expect everyone who uses the Gloworder Marketplace Platform to do their part and adhere to relevant laws and regulation.
d. Your Feedback Matters
If something happens, whether it’s good or bad, we invite your feedback and request that you contact the Gloworder Support team. Our team is continually improving our standards and policies, and your feedback is important so that we can take appropriate action to keep our standards relevant as our culture and technology evolve.
Treat everyone in the Gloworder community as you would like to be treated yourself: with respect. The actions you take while using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform can have a big impact on the safety and comfort of others. Courtesy matters. That’s why you are expected to exercise good judgment and behave decently toward other people when using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform and interacting with others in the Gloworder community.
For example, if you’re a Third-Party Provider, treat your customers as you would treat a new friend that you invited into your home. If you’re a customer, treat each establishment as if you were invited into the home of a new friend. It’s common courtesy not to shout or swear, or make a scene. And by tidying up after yourself – whether it’s taking your trash home or cleaning up a spilled drink – you’ll help ensure that everyone has a pleasant experience. Most importantly, remember that when you interact with others in the Gloworder community, you may meet people who may look different from you or think differently than you. Please respect those differences. We believe that everyone should feel supported and welcomed when interacting with others in the Gloworder community. That’s why we’ve created standards and policies on physical contact, sexual assault and misconduct, threatening and rude behavior, discrimination, and property damage.
a. Physical Contact
In general, you should never touch anyone who doesn’t expressly invite your specific physical contact. Don’t touch strangers or anyone you just met while using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform. Hurting or intending to hurt anyone is never allowed.
b. Sexual Assault and Misconduct
We all value our personal space and privacy. Talking with other people can make for a great experience. But please be respectful. Talk to other the way you’d like someone to speak to you or a member of your family. Sexual assault and sexual misconduct of any kind is prohibited. Sexual assault and misconduct refer to sexual contact or behavior without explicit consent of the other person. Personal space and privacy must be respected.
c. Threatening and Rude Behavior
Aggressive, confrontational, or harassing behavior is not allowed. Don’t use language, make gestures, or act in a way that could be construed as disrespectful, threatening, or inappropriate. It is also a good idea to stay away from personal topics that can potentially be divisive, like sexual orientation, religion or political beliefs.
d. Discrimination
You should always feel safe and welcome. That’s why we don’t tolerate discriminatory conduct or behavior, including toward the Gloworder team. Do not discriminate against someone based on traits such as their age, color, disability, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected under relevant law. For example, it is unacceptable to refuse service based on characteristics like a person’s age, color, disability, gender identity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected under relevant law.
e. Property Damage
Damaging property is never allowed. Some examples include damaging an establishment, breaking property, intentionally spilling food or drink, smoking inside an establishment, vomiting due to excessive alcohol consumption or otherwise. If you damage property, you’re responsible for the cost of cleaning and repair fees.
Everyone has a role to play in helping to create a safe environment. That’s why we have standards on account sharing, account holder age, and more.
a. Account Sharing
Account sharing is not allowed. To use the Gloworder Marketplace Platform, you need to register and maintain an active account. Don’t let another person use your account, and never share your personal information used in connection with your account, including but not limited to username, password, or personal information related to your account with anyone.
b. People Under the Age of 21
You must be 21 years or older to have or use a Gloworder account. This means that you must be at least 21 years old to register and/or use the Gloworder Marketplace Platform to order anything for yourself or anyone else. Account holders can’t request goods or services for anyone under the age of 21 even if you or someone else is only ordering food. These age restrictions always apply with no exceptions.
c. Alcohol
All transactions likely and potentially involve alcohol so all transactions must comply with any and all applicable alcohol laws and restrictions, as well as these Community Guidelines and the Gloworder Terms of Use. Only Gloworder Users who are the legal age to buy alcohol (21 in the US) or older, and not intoxicated, can order and receive alcohol. Gloworder Users, as patrons of properly licensed establishments that serve alcohol, must be asked to show government-issued photo IDs to verify age and identity. Similarly, Gloworder Users, as patrons of properly licensed establishments that serve alcohol, must show government-issued photo IDs to verify age and identity.
Third-Party Providers are responsible for validating the age and identification of all Gloworder Users. Third-Party Providers, or their agents and/or employees, are also responsible for gauging whether a patron of their establishment (potentially a Gloworder User, as it related to these Community Guidelines) is intoxicated and/or should be denied service.
If a Gloworder User does not have a valid government-issued photo ID, or appears intoxicated, the Third-Party Provider must refuse entry into the establishment and/or refuse service to the User. If a Gloworder User does not have a valid government-issued photo ID, or appears intoxicated, the Third-Party Provider must never server alcohol to the Gloworder User or allow alcohol to be served to the Gloworder User. Gloworder will refund, on a case-by-case basis, reasonable requests for refunds in these situations.
Third-Party Providers may not serve or offer to serve alcohol in a public location where open containers are prohibited, or to any other areas where possession or consumption of alcohol is prohibited by law. Gloworder Users may not order and/or consume alcohol in a public location where open containers are prohibited, or to any other areas where possession or consumption of alcohol is prohibited by law.
d. Separation Between Third-Party Providers and Users
There is a clear distinction between Third-Party Providers, their agents and employees, and the Gloworder Users who may be categorized as invitees and/or licensees of the Third-Party Providers. Gloworder Users may be professionally affiliated with a Third-Party Provider, but may never act in a professional capacity or in furtherance (or attempted furtherance) of the interests of a Third-Party Provider while acting in the capacity of a User. For example, Users may never pour or serve their own alcohol even if the User is at an establishment where he/she also works.
e. Creating a Positive Experience for Gloworder Users
It’s important for Third-Party Providers to treat Gloworder Users with respect. When a Gloworder User does not receive items in their order or receives wrong items, it can lead to a poor experience. Long preparation times, long delivery times (the amount of time it takes for the order to be delivered once it’s been prepared), low online time or refusal to utilize the Gloworder Marketplace Platform (a Third-Party Provider’s online availability), and high cancellation rates (termination of an attempted order and/or cancellation of a placed order that results in a refund) also create a negative experience for Gloworder Users.
If these metrics, or others, are significantly worse than the average for a Third-Party Provider’s region, city, or area, they may negatively impact other parties’ experiences with Gloworder, so a Third-Party Provider’s metrics should be at least average for its respective area. If a Third-Party Provider’s metrics are below the minimum standard, we will let them know.
f. Public Emergencies
Gloworder may take additional measures to try to preserve the safety of our platform during public emergencies, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, and public crisis situations.
For example, if Gloworder receives notice from a public health authority that someone using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform may present a potential for public harm, we may temporarily block the individual’s access until it is reasonably safe to allow the individual to resume using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform. Similarly, we may prevent individuals in an entire city or region from using part or all of the Gloworder Marketplace Platform or impose other requirements to comply with guidance from authorities during a time of public health emergency, natural disaster, or other public crisis situation, or when the continued availability of the Gloworder Marketplace Platform might present a danger.
g. Prohibited Items
Third-Party Providers may only offer for sale items expressly contemplated under their agreement with Gloworder. Specially regulated or illicit items, including but not limited to cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), are not allowed to be offered on a Third-Party Provider’s Gloworder menu. Gloworder may take any action that it deems, in its sole discretion, to be appropriate if any item is offered or sold that Gloworder deems, in its sole discretion, to be prohibited or inappropriate.
h. Zero Tolerance Policy
Gloworder does not tolerate the use of alcohol or drugs by Third-Party Providers using the Gloworder app. If you believe any agent or employee of the establishment, in any official capacity, may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, please contact Gloworder immediately at legal@gloworder.com.
Employees who are “off the clock” are considered to be “acting in an official capacity” if they perform any of their employment duties and/or perform any act – whether the act is successful or not – for the benefit of the Third-Party Provider.
Gloworder will promptly suspend account access, pending an investigation, upon receipt of a credible report from any person who reasonably suspects that any agent or employee of a Third-Party Provider consumed alcohol or drugs while providing Services.
All Third-Party Providers must specifically read, review, understand, and accept this policy during registration. This Zero Tolerance Policy is further outlined here.
We have standards based on applicable laws and regulations that everyone must follow. Using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform to commit any crime or to violate any other law is strictly prohibited.
a. Follow All Laws
Everyone is responsible for knowing and obeying all applicable laws at all times when using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform.
All relevant licenses, permits, and any other legal documents required of Third-Party Providers must be kept up to date. We review reports of any infractions and will comport with all legal requests by law enforcement.
b. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
The ADA requires that restaurants and other places of public accommodation constructed for first occupancy after January 26, 1993, be designed and built to be readily accessible to people with disabilities, unless it is “structurally impracticable” to do so.
The ADA also requires that 5% of the tables (or at least one if you have less than 20 tables) in your establishment must be ADA Compliant tables. A floor area of 30” by 48” should be cleared to accommodate wheelchair seating at a table or counter. Tabletops and counters should be between 28” to 34” in height to be accessible in a wheelchair.
c. The Service Animals and Assistive Devices
The ADA dictates that restaurants and bars must allow individuals with disabilities to bring their service dogs onto the business premise in all areas customers are generally allowed or the public is invited (even if the restaurant has a “no pets” policy or animals are prohibited by state or local health codes).
Third-Party Providers using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform may not deny service to anyone with a valid service animal or assistive devices (such as a wheelchair or crutches) because of the service animal or assistive devices. Gloworder expects everyone to uphold the laws and intent of the ADA. Applicable laws generally prohibit establishments from denying service to patrons because of their service animals or assistive devices, and from otherwise discriminating against patrons with service animals or assistive devices. Knowingly refusing service to a User because of their service animal or assistive devices will result in losing access to the Gloworder Marketplace Platform.
d. Drugs
Drug use is never allowed while using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform.
e. Driving or Biking Under the Influence
The law prohibits driving or biking while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance that impairs your ability to safely operate a vehicle or bicycle. Gloworder does not permit or condone driving or biking while under the influence of any substance that can potentially alter one’s faculties.
f. Firearms Ban
Alcohol and firearms don’t mix. Gloworder expressly prohibits the possession and/or use of firearms while using Gloworder. Third-Party Providers and Users are strictly prohibited from using or possessing firearms while using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform, even in instances that may technically be permitted by applicable law.
g. Fraud
Deception can weaken trust and can also be dangerous. Intentionally falsifying information or assuming someone else’s identity, for example when signing in or undergoing a security check, isn’t allowed. It is important to provide accurate information when creating and accessing your Gloworder accounts, disputing charges or fees, reporting incidents, etc. Only request fees or refunds that you’re entitled to, and use offers and promotions only as intended. Please don’t knowingly and/or intentionally attempt invalid transactions.
h. Other Unacceptable Activities
Never use Gloworder’s trademark or intellectual property without permission. If it’s required under local law to display Gloworder-branded items, Third-Party Providers and Users should only use Gloworder-branded items that are obtained from Gloworder. Third-Party Providers and Users should not display Gloworder-branded items when they are not accessing the platform. Third-Party Providers and Users should also return Gloworder-branded items to Gloworder if they lose access to the platform. The use of unauthorized or third-party items such as lights, placards, signs, or similar items bearing Gloworder’s name or trademark – may confuse Users and therefore negatively impact the Gloworder brand.
If something happens, whether it’s good or bad, please tell us. Our team is continually improving our standards, and your feedback is important to keep our standards relevant as our technology evolves. Honest feedback helps ensure that everyone is accountable for their behavior. This accountability helps create a respectful, safe environment. If something happens and you want to report it, please contact our Support team at support@gloworder.com. In case of an emergency or if you find yourself in immediate danger, alert your local authorities or emergency services before notifying Gloworder.
Losing access to the Gloworder Marketplace Platform may be disruptive to your life or to your business. That’s why we believe it is important to have clear standards that explain the circumstances in which you may lose access to the Gloworder Marketplace Platform. If you violate any terms of your contractual agreement with Gloworder, or any applicable terms or policies, including any one of these Community Guidelines or any additional policies and standards that are communicated by Gloworder to you from time to time, you can lose access to all or part of the Gloworder Marketplace Platform. If you believe an error caused you to lose access to your account, you may contact the Gloworder Support team.
Gloworder receives feedback through a variety of channels, reviews reports submitted to our Support team that may violate our Community Guidelines, and may investigate through a specialized team. If we are made aware of potentially problematic behavior, we may contact you so we can look into it. We may, at our sole discretion, put a hold on your account or turn your account inactive until our review is complete.
Not following any one of our guidelines may result in the loss of access to all or part of the Gloworder Marketplace Platform. This can include reported violations of our Community Guidelines and certain actions you may take outside of the Gloworder Marketplace Platform, including but not limited to information from other platforms, if we determine that those actions threaten the safety of the Gloworder community, our employees, and contractors, or cause harm to Gloworder’s brand, reputation, or business. And if the issues raised are serious or a repeat report, or you refuse to cooperate, you may lose access to the Gloworder Marketplace Platform.
Any behavior involving violence, sexual misconduct, harassment, fraud, or discrimination, or deceptive, illegal, or unsafe activity, while using the Gloworder Marketplace Platform can result in the immediate loss of access to the Gloworder Marketplace Platform. Additionally, when law enforcement is involved, we will cooperate with their investigation.
Ultimately, we’re glad you’ve chosen to be part of our community. We hope you have nothing but great experiences using Gloworder and, as always, we’re here if you’d ever like to discuss anything. Cheers.
